I am Alina and I am the creator behind the brand bobríq.
After studying Information management and working as a Project manager in IT company for more than 4 years I realized it was important for me to balance “brain” and creative work. That is when bobríq was started at 2015. The idea of someone to wear my jewelry is highly rewarding for me.
My pieces show my love for the formal shapes and asymmetry. Inspired by architecture, they are developed by manipulating shapes and proportions, namely, by turning regular forms into a statement through application of deformation, asymmetric cuts and combination of different shapes.
Working with silver and gold, all bobríq pieces are handcrafted in my workshop in Vilnius, Lithuania.
I think visual appearance of my jewelry objects might even trick due to its simplicity.
but I do believe that every simple object becomes exceptional when enhanced by a personality
– personality of a wearer.
